HOW CURBSIDE WORKS
Three steps. Then it's gone.
01
Stage it where we can drive up
Driveway, residential garage, carport, or alley. We need about 10 feet of width and height for the dump truck. You do not have to be home.
02
Text a photo or price it here
Send pictures to (619) 245-9957, or build a load on this site. Fred replies with a clear price. The price you accept is the amount you pay.
03
We load, sweep, and go
Same-day is often available Monday through Saturday. We text when we are on the way, load the staged pile, sweep the path, and take it to recycle, donate, or the transfer station.

WHY CURBSIDE
Same truck. Less labor. Lower price.
Full-service means we carry items from inside, upstairs, or the backyard. Curbside means you stage them at a drive-up spot and we skip that labor. A queen mattress is $69 at the curb versus $130 from a bedroom.
- No one has to be home
- No travel surcharge, no extra-man fee
- Quote from photos is the amount you pay
- Donate and recycle before landfill

WHAT WE PICK UP
If it sits at the curb, it goes.

Furniture
Sofas, sectionals, dressers, desks, tables, chairs, and bed frames.

Mattresses
Mattresses and box springs. Routed into California mattress recycling when the plant will take them.

Appliances
Refrigerators, washers, dryers, and water heaters — hauled to scrap and recycling.

Household piles
Bags, boxes, broken furniture, and the leftover mix after a move or garage cleanout.

TVs & e-waste
Flat-screens, monitors, computers, printers, and other electronics — hauled to certified e-waste recycling.

Gym equipment
Treadmills, ellipticals, and stationary bikes staged at a drive-up spot.

SINCE 2005
We invented curbside junk removal.
Fred started it in San Diego in 2005 — the first curbside junk removal service in the USA. Same idea 21 years later: you stage it, we haul it.
What neighbors tell Fred.
“The quote they gave me was the amount I paid. On time, careful with the driveway, and gone in minutes.”
Fred's Junk Removal review
“Booked online, got a confirmation, and the crew texted before they arrived. Straightforward from start to finish.”
Fred's Junk Removal review
“Three bulky items, no extra fees, polite crew. This is how junk removal should work.”
Fred's Junk Removal review
“Palm fronds gone the morning after the tree guy left. Five stars.”

THE CREW
A local operation. Not a franchise call center.
Curbside Junk Removal is a service of Fred's Junk Removal — owned by Fred Siegel, a US Navy veteran who went to bootcamp at RTC San Diego. In 2005 Fred invented curbside junk removal: the first service in the USA built around driveway staging. The same dump truck and crew have hauled more than 50,000 loads since. Fred answers the phone.

THE TRADE
We save time. You save money.
You skip waiting around for a crew to carry furniture through the house. We skip that labor. The posted curbside rate is the result.
QUESTIONS
Straight answers.
Do I need to be home?+
No. Curbside means the items sit at a drive-up spot — driveway, residential garage, carport, or alley. We load the truck. We text when we are on the way.
How much does curbside junk removal cost?+
Posted rates start at $69 for one item or a small load under 200 lbs. Two items are $119. Three items are $179. A packed dump bed is $599. Labor, haul, and disposal are included. The quote you accept from photos is the amount you pay.
How is this cheaper than full-service?+
You do the carrying to a drive-up spot, so we skip inside labor, stairs, and hallways. A queen mattress is $69 curbside versus $130 if we carry it out of a bedroom — about 46% less. Most curbside jobs save 30% or more.
How fast can you come?+
Same-day is often available across central San Diego, Monday through Saturday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Text a photo for a quote and a window. After-hours texts are answered the next business morning.

Stage it tonight. Gone tomorrow.
Text a photo to (619) 245-9957. Fred quotes before the truck rolls.
